App Limitations

The Moodle mobile app can enable learning on the go. However, it's crucial to understand that not all course activities or resources may be available or function optimally through the app.

For students relying solely on a mobile device for their coursework, accessing Moodle via the native mobile web browser is recommended to ensure broader access to course functionalities that the app doesn't support.

It's important to acknowledge that some activities and resources may be impractical to complete on a mobile device. Students should be prepared for these limitations and plan their coursework accordingly, possibly seeking alternative access for certain tasks when necessary.

How do I log on?

  1. Install the official Moodle app on your device
  2. After launching the app, you'll be prompted for a “site url”. Type in: https://classes.lanecc.edu
  3. The app will ask you for your user name and password. Enter the name and password you normally use to access the college's Moodle site (same credentials as ExpressLane).

Once you’ve logged in you can view your courses, search for courses, look at the calendar, post a message in a forum, and more. See the full list of Moodle app features.
