Setting Your Course to Show for Students
It is the instructor's responsibility to set their own courses to Published when they are ready for students to access and begin participating in their course for the term.
Before setting your course to Published, be sure to:
- Complete the 2026-2027 Canvas Start of Term Checklist .
- Request any needed metacourses.
- Ensure all modules and individual activities are set to Published.
Follow this article to set your course to Published and to start allowing students to access the content and submit assignments.
