Re-Grading Quizzes in Moodle

Re-grade a quiz after altering or correcting a quiz question answer

To correct an answer in a quiz after the attempt:

  1. Click Turn editing on.
  2. On the course homepage, navigate to the quiz and click on it.
  3. Click on the gear icon in the top right and select Edit Quiz.
  4. Find the question and click the link of the question title.
  5. Update the correct answer.
  6. Save changes.
  7. Follow the re-grade quiz steps below.

To re-grade your quiz, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the quiz
    1. From the homepage
      1. Click on the name of the quiz to open it.
      2. Click on the gear or cog menu.
      3. Click Results

  2. Regrade quiz
    1. Regrade an entire class
    2. Click Regrade all to re-score all submitted attempts

    3. Regrade selected students
    4. Scroll down and select individual attempts.
    5. Click Regrade selected attempts

  3. You have successfully regraded your quiz
    The image shows the completion progress for a regrade, and a continue button.
