When registering for classes, you may encounter a course that is full. If this happens, you have the option to add yourself to the waitlist for that course.
Once a seat opens up and you're next on the list, you'll receive a notification. You can waitlist courses directly through the Navigate360 system.
Be sure to check your notifications regularly!
Once you're notified that a seat is available, you have only 12 hours to register before the seat is offered to the next student on the list.

Waitlist Courses in Canvas for Students
Canvas Access for Waitlisted Courses Waitlisted courses automatically appear in Canvas, but with view-only access. You can review course materials, but you cannot submit assignments, take quizzes, or post in discussion forums.
How to Spot a Waitlisted Course Waitlisted courses are marked in three places:
- Dashboard: Displayed with a dotted border and a yellow "Waitlisted" tag.
- Course Pages: Marked with a yellow banner at the bottom of the screen.
- All Courses List: Marked with a waitlisted enrollment status.
Unlocking Full Access Once a seat opens up and you officially register, your status automatically updates to "Student," granting you full access to participate and submit assignments.
