Instructor Course Naming Permissions
Instructors do not have permission to edit an already existing course full name or course shortname/codes in Canvas.
If your course is listed incorrectly in Canvas but not myLane, or you wish to change the name of a development course, a listed instructor of the course can complete this form for a course name change or correction, or contact the ATC directly.
If your course is listed incorrectly in both Canvas and myLane:
- Contact your department administrator
- Ask them to reassign you as an instructor to the course.
- Make sure the Canvas course title is updated as well (see above).
